Dr. Adibnatanzi received his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California Berkeley, Berkeley California in 1976. He continued his higher education in the same field and 1978 received his Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree in structural engineering from San Jose State University, San Jose California. After years of work activity in engineering and research in the field of structural and earthquake engineering, in September 2009 he started his Ph.D program At the University of British Columbia UBC. He conducted his studies & research work on Low-Cost Seismic Isolation Systems. Dr. Adibnatanzi received his Doctoral of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Structural and Earthquake Engineering in 2016.

Our Goal

Application of existing conventional seismic isolators has not been widespread due to the high cost of production, handling, and implementation process. These types of base isolators are heavy, large, and expensive, consequent only important buildings with highly sensitive and valuable contents are the candidates for the conventional Isolators.

 EP&C Seismic Isolation Systems Inc. is proud to be a pioneer in the development and production of Cost-effective FRE Seismic Isolators. We use high-strength lightweight fibers as reinforcing material in our uniquely designed fiber-reinforced elastomeric seismic Isolators. These Isolators have high isolation and implementation efficiencies. They are designed not only to protect important low-medium-rise buildings but also to protect the common residential and commercial buildings as well.

 Our goal is to make the widespread application of our cost-effective EP&C seismic isolators possible. Our new seismic isolators are not only efficient in isolating and protecting new buildings but also in rehabilitating existing buildings and ancient monuments as well. Our team strives further to provide the most efficient earthquake protection systems to reduce the damage and destruction caused by earthquakes and effectively protect lives and assets worldwide.
